The Proper Songs label is a DIY enterprise that was born in 2009 from the blog of the same name.
The label functions as a labour of love, releasing on very limited numbers of CD, CDR or vinyl as well as through most digital shops.
Operating on a production and marketing budget of next to nothing, everything is done in house with the co-operation of the artists, friends and generous, like-minded individuals. Support of press, radio and bloggers worldwide is always very much appreciated and vital to the continued existance of the label.
